I think we are so far behind that it would cause an end to the whole idea if I tried to catch up so for now, I will just start where we are. Maybe,if I have time I will add some earlier stuff later. Right now, we are just marveling, and lamenting, at how fast she has grown. I just started braiding her hair, and I have to say that it has been quite emotional. Oh yes, you experienced moms know what I'm talking about. She is halfway to having her own kids in her Mommy's eyes.
We went to the fair on Saturday with our friends Grace and Savannah. This is Madison wearing her "cow outfit" on the carousel with Savannah. No, there are no cows on this outfit, however my not-yet-2-year-old is very particular about what she wears. Daddy said that she couldn't wear her "go gator" clothes to the Tennessee State Fair on the day of the big game so we had a bit of a situation getting dressed. Mommy, who is a true professional, had to explain that we would be seeing cows at the fair, and that we needed to wear clothes that the cows would like. If you ask Madison, now, she will tell you that this is the type of outfit that Tennessee cows prefer. We did, however, choose an orange and blue horse on the Carousel and were sure to let all those around us know that it was, indeed, a "Gator Horsey". Cuteness buys a lot of leeway, even in Tennessee.
